The Taourirt Kasbah
The Taourirt Kasbah was constructed in the 17th century by the Glaoui tribe. It is renowned for its classical style, as it was one of the first fantastic Berber pieces to be created.
The Kasbah was long the home of the Pasha of Marrakech, an effective and very important member of the Moroccan aristocracy.
Travelers can observe the exterior style of the monument, which has the look of a castle of sand: wall surfaces of a bronzed red increasing towards the sky, as well as crenelated towers at the numerous corners of the Kasbah.
For a tiny charge, it and the medina can be seen.
It's a must-see. Inside is the indoor format of this richly enhanced building: the dining room, living areas, rooms, etc. An essential destination detailed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
